WHO WE ARE

It began with chemistry between husband and wife-Husband is a sharp entrepreneur, social scientist & post graduate in agriculture, while the wife is fair enough in human resource management.

S.M.KUMAR is a prolific in agriculture science by profession and is a nationalist who identified agriculture business as the means to serve India and its poor farmers. These were the times when farmers in India suffered loss of harvest due to crop disease and pest infestation. Left to elements and the natural perils of pest attacks the farmers needed indigenous solutions to grow quality food crops, which could feed the population of a country that was the period of 2010-11

S.M.KUMAR developed indigenous technology to make BIOPESTICIDES& CHEMICAL PESTICIDES and its derivative compounds that were used to make products that could protect crops against pests. Later young CHEMIST Sunil Agrawal and Jayesh Daniel joined him. S.M.KUMAR is respected for bringing every challenge to a successful outcome. He believed:"If it can be made there (western countries) it can be made here (India)". His dream for the country and its farmers is the genesis of Mangroove laboratory pvt ltd.

The wife S.ALPANA a strategist and entrepreneur by nature, held a vision that spoke of,"Adaptability to the changing times without compromising on the basic principles is yet one more management tool of great importance". This is one of the principles practiced at Mangroove laboratory even today.

S.ALPANA inspired and stimulated with unconventional spirit has summed up her husband CC's vision as,"Our workplace is wherever the sun shines, where photosynthesis takes place, microbes work, whether it is in Rajasthan, CG. MP.WB. MH or anywhere. We are in agri-business and we are here to serve the farmers to grow more food. We know no borders in the service of humanity. S.ALPANA continues to offer visionary guidance to the company while fulfilling the dream of her husband.
